RANT TIME!
Has anyone seen that insipid Acuvue contact lenses commercial? It always came off as pretty annoying to me but I never realized exactly how stupid this commercial really is until today.
Is it just me or is "Shannon" and her friend WAY too excited about the contact lenses? They're just contact lenses! Don't throw yourself into a tizzy over them! I swear they're talking about these contacts like they're some sort of new miracle product, or that Acuvue has reinvented the contact lens. "They're so easy to put on, and so comfortable!" "So easy to put on"? Did Acuvue invent some new tool to help the public put on their contact lenses?! I sincerely doubt it, I'm going to guess that this "Shannon" girl (or her friend, whoever it was...) was taught how to put on contact lenses correctly...so of course they're going to be easy to put in once you know how to! Just like baking a cake, all you need is the igredient list and instructions, after that it's not that hard! And, ladies, do you really think that once you know how to put them on correctly they're going to feel uncomfortable? That hundreds of thousands of people in the past have been wearing contact lenses to their great discomfort until Acuvue came to the rescue?! Or perhaps more accurately, Acuvue did you really think people would actually think you've revolutionized the contact lens?! Contacts are always comfortable when you wear them correctly! This is not news to anybody!
This commercial is probably one of the lamest attempts to "cool-ify" a product, since Yoplait released that Tubes commercial with the uncool kid who sits on the steps of school and eats yogurt with a spoon (gasp! a spoon! how 5 years ago!) while the REALLY COOL kid eats Yoplait Tubes, yogurt in a tube (!!), and busts out crazy bmx tricks in the school yard. WOW! Maybe if I eat yogurt the exciting way, in a tube, instead of with a boring spoon maybe I'll be able to do those super cool bike tricks and be considered cool too!

So it turns out I might have a chest cold. I've never had one of those before...huzzah!
Happy Easter everybody! =)

ugh, so it looks like US is really in it for world domination...but never fear, I also have another sticker icon for that too! Listen to the sticker!

I feel I must elaborate on some of my rant, because I think I give off the impression that I think North Korea is an evil, evil country and their people need to be saved. I wrote those last few sentences to speak to the very esscence of the American citizen, because we all know communism does equal evil to them so whatever... but yeah, I don't think North Korea is evil, evil, evil.
So it would appear I'm pretty political this month so I shall deem it Political Outdoor Education Month for my website! Here here! Happy Passover everybody!
I also added Steph Chiao's online journal to the links page.
Today my source of entertainment is updating this page (I've also checked my email an unhealthy amount of times...) so, here, check out the photos I created of me and David F-T sliding across icy benches at the side of the school.

Well, I just got back from the Leslie Frost Centre, and I took lots of pictures. I haven't linked the page to other pages yet. I'm in the process of deciding whether or not I should scrap the extra links on my page and just put them underneath one big 'pictures' section so I don't have to keep updating links to each and every page. While I do that, take a look at the pictures I took at Leslie Frost by clicking here!

Ugh, I just saw an annoying "Support Our Troops" bullshit-American-propoganda advertisment on Fox. They included a clip of a woman talking about why this war is important especially after the September 11th attacks. Stupid American woman! The War in Iraq and the September 11th attacks are NOT RELATED! I REPEAT, NOT RELATED!
Although, if you want to play six degress of seperation, how about this...your damn country initally helped arm Al Quada, who I remind you, though I doubt you have forgotten, are the prime suspects of the September 11th attacks and while the US may no longer be helping arm Al Quada, they are still helping arm other Warlord groups in the Middle East. Why, you ask? Simply, if these radical groups rise in power and eventually take over a country they will have a loyalty to the US because the US helped arm them, and in return they will agree to trade cheap oil to the States. And wouldn't you know! Cheap oil is what this whole fucking war is all about!
Yeah, yeah, I've heard that bullshit excuse about "liberating" the Iraqi people from the terror of Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction...but you know what?! There are dictators all over the world, he's not the only one! And they also have weapons of mass destruction! FOR FUCK'S SAKE, YOUR OWN DAMN COUNTRY HAS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION TOO! And another thing about radical politcal governments and goddamn nuclear weapons... if the States is so hell bent on liberating people under tyranny, what's with the inaction towards North Korea (it's a country is run by communists! oh no!)? They admitted to having nuclear weapons, why aren't you attacking them? You could totally take them on and much faster than Iraq...oh wait, they don't have oil fields, I guess the Korean people aren't worth saving then. It's disheartening to see that people under tyrannical reign are only worth saving if they can provide cheap oil in return.
Since I'm so enraged by the sheer ignorance of Pro War Americans I'm going to keep up the Michael Moore quote, he is TRULY a MODEL AMERICAN:

Well it was about time I moved the February updates to the old updates page.
I'd just like to give my massive fricking seal of approval to Michael Moore, the director of Bowling for Columbine for his comments pertaining to the War in Iraq when he picked up his best documentary Oscar tonight.
Fucking, eh! Right on man! And, to those people who booed him I raise two middle fingers in your direction. I'm going to see this man's movie, maybe even twice, and you should too!
