Oh man, I really hate the sound of vacuums! Ugh, it should be added to my pet peeve list. Why the hell do my parents vacuum so damn often!

My sister just bought a book with a whole bunch of comics from the the publication The New Yorker, or something like that. Here's one I especially enjoyed. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I made it into a sticker! Check out it's debut on the back of my planner as the replacement for the Vagrant Records sticker that got ripped off by those bastards that defaced my agenda and took my OMR! stickers!

New month, old updates, old updates in old updates page!
The results from the Eric vs. David poll! David wins with 63% (7 votes), Eric and Neither ended in a tie with 2 votes a piece.
I just broke my tech deck! Which means it's time for me to open up a new one, I can't decide between the Birdhouse 8122, and the Powell Ollie Tank. So vote on the poll and tell me what you think, if you have another suggestion be sure to put it down in the comment box so I know which "other" Tech Deck you're talking about.

That time of the month again! It's new month, so I moved the old updates to the...Old Updates page! ;)
Recently, Eric and David made a little trip to the Bayview Middle School parking lot to practice skids on their bikes. To Eric's request I came along with my digital camera and took pictures and movie clips of them! Check them out and then vote for which skid you think is better! =)
To watch the clips I suggest to right click on the link of the movie you want to watch and use "Save Target As..." to save it on your hard drive, or you can just try clicking the links to see if it just opens by itself, whatever! =) Don't forget to vote!

I just bought sticker/label paper, so I can make my own stickers from my computer. Oh the hijinks that will ensue!
(20/10/2002)
I saw the Transporter yesterday! Five stars on the brainless entertainment meter! I'll just post the poster, since the picture I want to post might prove to be too racy...oh what the hell! I'll post them both!
I don't own any of these pictures, they belong to imdb.com and the distributors and producers of The Transporter, maybe even wireimage.com. =)
Go Turkish!

Woo hoo! I just got the CD I bought off ebay, Alkaline Trio: From Here To Infirmary, in the mail. I've wanted this CD since the middle of summer. Unlike the Student Rick CD it doesn't have such a boring-after-a-while factor. There are different versions of the songs I heard before on the Vagrant compilation (Crawl and Bloodied Up), so that's a refreshing change. In addition to the previously mentioned songs, a new favourite song is You're Dead, how's that for positivity! Like Hands Down it's all about the delivery of the line below.
Alkaline Trio - You're Dead
And I now have nothing. But your heartbeat in my head.
(17/10/2002)
I added a Rugby page. There you can find pictures from the 10's tournament.
(12/10/2002)
I opened up my own personal bank account today! WHAT! WHAT! lol
(4/10/2002)
Well, it's that time again, the Septemeber updates have been moved to the old updates section/archive.
My sister just got a guinea pig, her name is Lucky!
Check out some of the pictures I got of her! At her feeding bowl / looking right at you / a bird's eye view

pet peeve list continues...
5. Eminem - What is wrong with this guy's mouth?! HE HAS NO LIPS!! He's also ugly and stupid, so if you're one of those weird girls who think Eminem is hot, you are ALSO ugly and stupid.
6. Girls who think Eminem is hot - No explanation required...but if I must, HE'S UGLY! ARE YOU BLIND?!
7. Dolphins - why do they have to be so goddamn obnoxiously happy all the time! Stop smiling you obnoxious bastards! Ugh, they are so fake! lol
(15/9/2002)
I made a new banner! This is for you Ilana. =)
Everybody else, listen to the banner!
I just want to share with everybody a short list of my pet peeves, which may or may not become a list on whole sperate page, depends how long this list gets. For now we'll just start with a few. :)
1. When people don't bother to empty out the little corner of milk still sitting in the milk bag and just throw it away instead. - Okay, I know it's a small amount but still, there's a good mouthful still left in that corner, really there is!
2. Time of Your Life by Green Day - I know you're thinking, *GASP*! How could you not like this song, you tasteless bastard bitch! The fact of the matter is, if maybe this song wasn't used for every goddamn video montage from graduations to television show series finales to sporting event finals, maybe I wouldn't loathe this song so much. It's not so much the song but the song in combination with "look back" montages. I mean GEEZ! It was suitable the first maybe 3 times it was ever used, but FUCK! find a new song!
3. Graduation (Friends Forever) by Vitamin C - For the same reasons above, but not as much since, luckily, this song is strictly used for graduations, and as time wears on it seems pretty contained. Similar to the case of Smash Mouth's All Star, when it was released.
4. Americans and their inability to realize that The Guess Who's (Canadians, by the way, wOOt!) song American Woman is a diss to their nation, with lines like:
American woman, listen what I say
Don't come hanging around my door
Don't want to see your face no more
I don't need your war machines
I don't need your ghetto scenes
You would think they'd clue in and stop using that song in commercials and thinking it's some anthem that displays how "great" they are, it's an insult! AN INSULT!! Stop using the song! You're embarrassing yourselves!
For the purposes of keeping this page tidy I have moved all the post that were before September to the newly created, Old Updates page. =)

I just got my CD, Student Rick: Soundtrack for a Generation, in the mail. I was kinda nervous about this album. I went to amazon after winning the CD, and listened to clips of the songs I hadn't heard on their album. I thought their other songs sounded like Simple Plan, which is no good, but fortunately the album is shaping up quiet nicely. Some of the standout songs (excluding Falling For You, and Monday Morning because I had heard them before) are Hideaway, and Please Forgive Me.

I changed the link to Steph's page because, she says that you get less ads with that link, and I figured everybody could do with a little less ad-age in their lives.
Hey Chua, Ship ;) "It was RIGHT THERE!"

Mischa Barton chat today!
I bought Vagrant Records Another Year On The Street: Volume 2. My current favourite is Dashboard Confessional's Hand Down. The first few lines in the chorus are pretty damn sweet, though it's three fifths of delivery, so I recommend you give this song a listen.
Dashboard Confessional - Hands Down
My hopes are so high that your kiss might kill me. So won't you kill me, so I die happy. My heart is yours to fill or burst or break or bury or wear as jewelery, which ever you prefer.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Was reminded of this saying on the subway, overheard some woman say it.
(25/8/2002)
Over the weekend, with my cousins, I stumbled across $2 Tech Decks!! Needless to say, I HAVE NEW TECH DECKS!! So, of course, I've updated the archive.
Also, this entire weekend, I have had the strongest urge to watch Lord of The Rings...(?!) Yeah, I don't get it either.
Added links to other pages on...my other pages...just so you don't have to keep pressing the bastard 'back' button on your browser. =) They're either at the bottom or the top of the page.
(23/8/2002)
I've concluded that "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" is a creepy song. Creepy in a "remember that Buffy episode where they did a 'The Graduate'-esque episode" kinda way, reminds me of Dick Clark and the "good ol American days" with crackly television screens, the high school football captain dream-boat stud, and malt shops...*shudder* some sort of creepy 50's thing...
Check out my experimental page, I've dubbed it, Pretty Pictures At Random. Basically a shitload of pics I've stuck on a page and written commentary for. They're not really all pretty, some of them are just quirky, but I think the first one is a really nice photo/poster thing. I haven't decided whether or not I should keep this one up yet, which is why I haven't added it to the bottom section of links.
(22/8/2002)
Added a banner to the Jazz Festival page, nothing special. But if it piques your interest, have a gander! Is 'piques' a word? Or did I just make that up and the phrase is actually 'PEAKS your interest'?
I also figured out how to add horizontal rules to this page, booya!
MESSAGE FROM ILANA!! (16/8/2002)
Ilana has told me, to tell you, to go out and buy the new Lifehouse album (coming out September 17th) or she'll personally come over to your house and KICK YOUR ASS!!! Personally!
...and here, you'll find an extremely pointless but highly enjoyed (by those Chan kids, that would be Eric and Hilary) commercial.
I can't sleep! So I constructed a links page! Check it out!
ANOTHER THING! I also added a new category to my Tech Deck page, "Tech Deck Dudes", due to the recent event of receiving one from my cousin, Nicolas. Thanks Nico!
